Yeah but when you do 1-2 track events a month and changing all 4 wheels twice at an event it makes it so much easier.

Also at the end of a long trackday and the wheels and brakes are still piping hot, the less time you have to hang around the discs and callipers the better.

Also they are stronger for repeated on and off use so i'm told
