I met a guy with a 1M, who installed this mini oil cooler in front of his radiator... He said it worked great.
I've also heard that some guys have gotten the 335d radiator fan to fit on a N54 car. Its not easy but it will go in with some cutting mod-ing. Also... TuningWerk sells a thicker alu radiator... but its not cheap.
