Yup! No "S" engine designation. And since the 1M engine is based off of the N54... it needs N54 oil specs(!) not TWS(M oil) specs.
And for those dealers who say the 1M should use TWS oil... you should ask them what oil a Z4 35is should use as well? Because the 1M and the Z4 35is share the same engine. The 335is engine is close relative but not te same from what BMW people have told me.
