i believe 3m only distributes their stuff in large commercial rolls from what i hear and you need an account with them. I got mine done at Auto-Image in NJ, ive had them do some other work for me too, and they do some great stuff. the 3m tint is guaranteed for life and will never fade etc.
the tails are done with a thicker tint, and is essentially the same as regular tinting. I dont like razorblades cutting into my taillights, i mean, i wouldnt mind it if the taillight tints were legal, cause then theyd never come off. however theyre not, so i may be forced to remove them some day
