Actually you donīt have to do anything to unlock. The car unlocks the moment you grap the handle to open the door (Show me how you open the door without touching the handle )

To lock you have to touch the handle briefly after the door is closed. Still less handling than pressing the fob and then stowing away the fob. Only you donīt get to slam the door behind you without ever looking back as you can with the regular remote, locking while walking away. (Acutally you can, because the CA fob also has buttons to remotely lock/unlock but then youīre missing the point of CA...)
Starting is basically the same procedure as without the CA. Only the key stays within your pocket.

To me the benefit of CA is simply not having to getting the key out of my trouser pocket at all. No Keyring dangling on the dash. More options of stowing the key fob in harder to reach places (in my wardrobe please, donīt get me wrong )
