It could be that Michelin has change the actual tire specs(the physical dimensions) from PS2's to PSS. I don't see why... but it could be. Normally you only hear of tire variances from tire maker to tire maker. ie: Dunlaps vs Michelins. But I haven't heard of a tire maker making tires of different(actual) sizes with in its tire line.


I also know from my VW/Audi days that some cars can be built with weird tolerances. Sometime you would run across a car that the car body was off as much as 3/4 of an inch from left to right.
