For occassional track days -- drive it like it is and accept the shortcomings. I gave up on it, I would rather drive the Audi for occasional track days.
For occassional track days and still retain drivability -- Front Brakes, limited slip, wider front fenders so you can run 255's all around, shocks, and a rear sway bar. Lower and a little stiffer on springs would gain you some negative camber. This should result in less push without a bone jarring ride. Rear brakes get over-used in low speed turns without the limited slip. Your MY12 may have significant improvements over my 08; but, I haven't kept up with what has been changed.
I hate the logistics involved with loading the trailer and towing for occasional track days.
