I dont buy the "ram air" conclusion... because the tune, be it factory or aftermarket, will auto adjust for a certain load no matter what... but taking in cooler air via a front grill scoop design will lower the intake air charge temps and thus be a lot better for performance then open air filters sitting in a hot engine bay...

but of course there are so many variables to test it all wouldnt be cost effective and thus everyone just does what they want on an emotional level of what in their mind is the better choice usually. Ive seen no dyno's or real world number proving the scoops improve ET's or track times so in conclusion do whatever makes you sleep at night. lol
