Yes, yes I did do this mod. Sorry I never updated this thread. I must say the M3 steering wheel is one of my favorite mods. It feels so good in your hands. Its amazing how much the touch of a soft leather wheel makes on the driving characteristics of the car. I really recommend this mod. Btw... I am 6MT also, so no paddle problems for me.

I think I paid 330 euros without the German 19% sales tax/VAT. My dealer gave me a great deal on the wheel. I think that 330 euro price was with a 20% discount off of BMW's list price(and no taxes). Plus my dealer only charged me 13 euros to install the steering wheel! How can you say no to THAT price!
The M3 wheel is really the way to go!
