I agree! In bright light and at a distance, it's difficult to tell these shades aren't a tint. It's only when one gets close can the weave of the screen be seen and even then the interior can't be viewed. From a distance and in summer bright light, it's nearly impossible to tell it's not tinted, much less see inside.
As said, they're easy to install, fit great and easy to remove and store (in included BWM bags). I also recommend the BMW sunshade for the windshield; it's a solid piece that folds up, definitely blocks the sun. Despite the expense, it's a nice quality sunshade that includes a vinyl storage bag. There are times when I remove it from the windshield and happen to touch the outside surface to discover it's painfully hot. If you live in the South, these shades are essential during the summer.
