unless you live somewhere really snowy, it's a pretty big compromise to have a lesser car for 352 days a year for 13 days of snow
A non XI will be more fun to drive, get better gas mileage, be faster than an Xi
if there's any way to avoid an Xi it should be avoided
(still better than a truck though)
