This is odd. Audi uses quattro (their 4 wheel drive system) as a selling point, whereas BMW doesn't use Xi as their "ulitmate". Maybe it's 4wd is just better than front wheel drive?
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Xi focus 90% of the power on the rear wheels when the car is in motion, and only transfers power to the front wheels when the rear wheels slip? I remeber seeing this on one of bmw's web videos...something about keeping the drive sporty
