If that is what your suggesting then absolutely this is a huge time saver. When I do this I there is virtually no water left on the car. Drying the car takes literally 5 minutes with this technique. There is only a few drops of water that needs to be picked up with a microfiber. The wheels and the grill take most of the time within the five minutes as they don't lend themselves to this technique.

Lets not forget the front air dam. Then re-drying it again after you start the car and pull it back into the garage, since it blows out a bunch more water :/
