Yes, they were notified and took no responsibility. When it leaves the factory, they said it was out of their hands. Nice. Anyway, I think the dealer had something to do with it. I wanted delivery in Spartanburg and to attend driving school, but they were booked for the holidays through to the end of January. So I told the dealer to forget about it, but I believe they forgot to tell BMW. It's speculation on my part because nobody is admitting a mistake.
The good news is that my car arrived last Thursday. The bad news is that I am now overseas and will not return again until April, so the car will sit in my garage. Sigh.
