Mine became so dirty that pictures would be NSFW. VO hides well dust, dirt and raindrops. However there are limits, a bit like women who have put up so much make-up that you could easily write
"dirty" with your finger on their cheeks. My alloys have now the poor man's gunmetal look too: no painting or coating but they simply underwent the free of charge
"brake dusting process".
