It did... but was only effective for a couple of days.
Aerospace 303 is a 'protectant' for plastic, vinyl, rubber, etc. that has UV protection as well. Some people use it on interiors or tires, but I use it mostly for large plastic surfaces on the exterior of my wife's car, and the few plastic exterior bits on my car (rear panel, mud guards, engine compartment).

Next time I apply some sort of lube to the assembly it will be tire dressing. However, the squeaks have largely gone away now that winter is over and my run flat winter tires have been removed and PSSs reinstalled.
