Winter Traction

Having driven only front and AWD vehicles for the past 2 lives, the new E82 is a blast and quite different, and it occurs to me that Winter should be a lot of fun around here if we get one this year.

I know it’s early for this kind of depression but my question is what Northwest owners prefer for a Winter traction setup if any.. I’m considering at a set of inexpensive alloys with a set of Bridgestone WS70 studless ice and snow tires. That and bypass the TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System) and live with the pretty yellow hue on the dash for the season..

I know we occasionally get a crap load of Winter fun, but occasionally it can be downright surly and I would like to be somewhat prepared.

I also wonder what others have lying around in the garage leaned up against the spouse’s potting bench for the impending Winter.

Bonus points for pics of Winter wheels parked on retired or soon to be donated toddler transportation or sleeping devices.

Cheers and bring on the cold. (In good time…)
