All downpipes taper down to 2.25-2.5 to mate up to the OEM catback, even AR downpipes. The sound difference will mostly depend if you have an aftermarket exhaust or not. If you still keep your OEM catback, the sound won't increase too much but it will definitely sound sportier especially WOT.
