Questions:
A. What brand / model for tires?
B. What brand / model / width / offset for wheels?
C. What are you trying to accomplish?

Comments:
A. You will take the understeer problem and make it far worse with this setup no matter what the brand. Fantastic for drag, poor for real driving.
B. 265 is very aggressive in the rear. It can fit, but with very careful planning and wheel choice. 275 is viewed as the max without issue.
C. For tire sizes. (1st part / 2nd part - 3rd part)
1st part: Width in mm
2nd part: Ratio for sidewall height. Height = Width x (Ratio) as a percent
3rd part: Inner tire diameter in inches (what diameter rim it was meant for)
I did a little research before going to townfair, cleary not enough. For my tires I have Dunlop Direzza DZ101

For wheels I have TSW, not sure on which measurements comply but I got 4 Nurbies (no idea what these are) two have measurements of 18X8 5X120 ET 35 and the other two; 18X19.5 5X120 ET40.

My goal was to buy a new set of wheels and tires for better traction and I needed new rims because the ones I have now have had too many run-in with the curbs.

I realize I look like an idiot not knowing anything about this set-up, I was really caught off guard, it was my first time buying wheels and tires for a car.

I'll upload a photo to show what the wheels look like.
