10% off the standard drive away list price is normally what you can aim for. It not at all unreasonable to expect a 10% discount if the car has a lot of overpriced options and assuming it is a new car from the warehouse. I only ordered base spec cars and factory orders, so I never quite got 10% off but still close enough. Maybe 5% off their best offer, but still I don't think that's reliable because the salesman will judge you based on your appearance, history, and whether or not they believe you are actually going to buy. Dealers always spin stupid stories and a list of reasons why you have to pay extra money, so always be prepared to walk away. I never tried the help of hectic cousins though.
