OK, here is what I have found out about CSL reps:
- There are at least 2 manufacturers - one of them appears to have better fit&finish than the other. I'm not sure which is which, you can probably investigate/ask this on the e90post wheel & tire forum. I seem to remember that the supposedly better ones have letters "engraved" on the hub, just like the original CSL's.
- Some people have had trouble balancing these wheels with TPMS inside.
- They seem reasonably sturdy for street driving. They are pretty heavy.
I almost bought a set of 19" hyperblacks for my 335, but finally gave up (short lease, heavy wheels, uncertainty regarding the quality).
Common vendors seem to be JLevi (
http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/), EAS (
http://www.europeanautosource.com/) and Umnitza (
http://www.umnitza.com/). There may be others of course, but I've had dealings with these and been treated right by all of them.
I hope I haven't posted old info, or anything that's not right by the forum rules - I have no affiliation with any of these vendors...
