What makes no sense is that the 1 Series isn't on the ACCC list of cars that have the Takata airbag. I think BMW Australia technically has until April 3rd to come clean on all vehicles that need to be added to the list, but given they have already recalled these exact cars in the US it seems strange. Can't see any realistic scenario where they were fitting one airport for the US on the factory line and a different one for Australia—not plausible.
