I think the new Corvette is probably a fantastic bargain...it was either
Car and Driver or
Motor Trend that gave a win to it over the Porsche 911 S. They actually liked the Porsche better, but the Corvette was so close in every category, but for half the money, they gave it the win.
HOWEVER The 1M has the practicality of a 1 Series BMW...I've had real adults in the back, I drive it in the winter (which I have to do since my other car is a Z3) and treat it like a regular all-purpose car. But then, when the mood strikes, I can push the M button and
drive it like a Corvette! And it is nice having the only Valencia Orange flared-fenders BMW in town.
