OK, I just did my CDV. I wouldn't call it night and day. It's nicer, yes, but totally underwhelming.
My BMW independent charged $150 (overpriced) and I don't feel it was worth it.
It does feel more like my CDV-less E36. I always thought the CDV was more intrusive on my old E46 compared to my 135.
If you don't have problems shifting now, I would recommend against this mod.
