There is a
KNOWN problem with aftermarket spark plugs. BUY plugs from a BMW dealer only. Don't you think its wiser to spend $90 on OE plugs than (cheap) OEM ones. ?

There are also N55 and N54 specific plugs. Check your part numbers to make sure you get the correct ones. See page two of my DIY.
