You have the right idea. You need to find someone around you (or someone to remote in to a laptop that you have set up with an OBD cable) who can "code" it for you. The term you're looking for is "coding", as in, "are there any coders around who can do amber delete".
It's not a long process- usually only takes a short amount of time. Just have to have the right software all set up.
