All right, here's the deal. aruttled (Andy) and I scoped out the Essex/Ipswich area. Here are the details. Below the details is our story.

Starting Point - Cars and Coffee (Woburn) @ 9:00am in the movie theater parking lot
Leave @ 11:00 for drive to....
Eating Spot - Woodmens of Essex, then...
Drive - Atlantic Rd/Farrington Ave/ Main St/ end at Stage Fort Park

Andy and I determined that the Clam Box had nice, crunchy clams. Cute girls behind the counter, but the cons were: not enough parking and rude old people.
Woodmen's has a large parking area, all you can grab ketchup, and picnic tables overlooking a marsh. So it won.
After the drive to the eating establishment, we have a nice drive along an ocean-side road. Afterwards, if you've had enough you can go home, or we can hang out at the park (which includes rolling hills and basketball courts)
