Your dealer should have covered that battery for you. I hope you get your money back.
I kind of wonder what's causing your battery to drain though. I leave my car parked for weeks at a time... and no problems to date. I always make sure to pull the USB drive(for MP3's). When I start it up for the first time... I always drive the car for at least 45 minutes on the highway. No problems for me using this method.
I wonder IF your car isn't "going to sleep". The DME puts the car to sleep after ~10 minutes or so. Did you leave a USB drive plugged in? Do you have comfort access and do you leave any of your key fobs close to the car? That will make the car stay "awake". Just wondering.
