I don't understand the purpose of trying to fit a wide 8.5" wheel in the front only to put 225 tires on it. There will be no benefit and the tires will look stretched. You can put the 7.5" GTS-R wheel in the front with 225/40R18 tires and should not have issues. Now, if you want to try to fit a 245 tire in the front then the 8.5" wheel would make sense but you would probably have to modify the fenders and suspension to avoid rubbing.
