I've had the Eibach/FSD combo on my car for over two years now and really like it for the street. For the track I would look at the Sport Yellows or elsewhere.
Oddly the drop is more subtle with the FSDs compared to springs alone. I think the spring perch design is different on the shocks compared to OEM. My drop is 3/4 while most Eibach springs drop the car by 1 1/4 or so. Same thing happened on my Cooper S when I added the Konis to my existing lowering springs.
