Not at all, if you're only getting 16,000 out of Star Specs you should get your alignment checked. You can easily get 20, if not 25k out of them from
normal street usage. Tirerack's user reviews guys who are getting even high as 30 out of them. And I said less than 8,000 just to be on the safe side.
