Rusty Wheel Hubs?
I had the front wheels off of my car for a job yesterday and noticed that the wheel hubs have accumulated quite a bit of rust. The car is only about 6 months old with ~4500 miles on the odometer. Is this normal? Should I be concerned, or take any action? I'm mainly wondering if this will prevent a safety issue down the line. Would this be a valid warranty claim?
For what it's worth, I live on the coast less than 1/4 mile from the ocean, so that certainly doesn't help anything.
