We would often spar with students from other disciplines at school. Us Tang Soo Do people were always the most balanced fighters.

9 years! You must be like Sam dan or something, very cool! I thought "Great Warrior" Ho Sik Pak was in LA. I'm fortunate to be in Pittsburgh, where there are several good TSD schools around. I think I just lucked out by having a friend who was in one. I like TSD sparring, though I wish I knew more about sweeps and groundwork. Of course, since my knee is now a problem, maybe I should be glad about not getting swept! I went to this this one tournament where sweeps and strikes at down fighters was allowed (you get 3 seconds) but it was on linoleum over concrete. People were limping a bit after that one!
So are you like a physicist or something? (Laplacian)
