i tapped the accessory fuse in the main fuse panel. you need to take the glove box down to get to it. very easy. all you do is pull the accessory fuse out (needle nose pliers), replace its spot with the add-a-line, put the accessory fuse back in the correct side of the add-a-line, then your 5amp fuse in the v1 line side.

I did the same thing, after wasting time on the sunroof wire. It didn't even work with the roof open!
