Wow, 150 Euro is WAY cheap!
I'll say this about the strength of a clear bra, a few days after I had mine installed a decent sized rock came flying off the road, hit the clear bra, skipped off and hit the windshield. It hit the windshield hard enough to star it in two places. The clear bra "wrinkled" for lack of a better word but the paint was undamaged.
Some clear bras can slightly change the color of the paint depending on the color of the paint though. My GTI is Candy White (a very pure white) but the clear bra makes it look like Campanella White, which has a tad bit of yellow in it, but only inder certain circumstances. And given the protection it gives you, it doesn't bother me at all.
