Not to mention resale. A lot of dealers won't touch a car with aftermarket wheels, I found out. At the very least one should hold onto the OEM's instead of selling them.
Also, how heavy could aluminum spacers be? Many cars could benefit from the wider stance visually even if there was a minute degradation of performance. Especially vs larger heavier aftermarket wheels (unless one wants to drop thousands on them).
