I just got a 2011 135i with DCT. I used to have a Z4 with SMG. With the SMG, the clutch never engaged until I hit the gas. With the DCT, as soon as I let go of the break, the car starts moving, both in 1st and reverse. Is this expected behavior? So if I gradually release the break and nudge forward, my clutch is slipping? Isn't this a bit of useless wear?

Thanks for any info!
My SA said most of DCT has a HDC built in so the car won't roll back on hill or flat surface no wonder why on the M3 it will not move even if you have your foot off the brake peddle.
