Good stuff Wolfe - keep us updated! Have you seen this? I remember reading years ago when I had an e36... that you could use 320i trans mounts. I think the only problem is that the "stud" or threads of the mount is 8mm instead of 6mm's. You just use a round file to make the cross brace holder fit the winder threads.
The 320i mounts were an upgrade for the e36 M3 mounts.
