I wish there was more you could do to protect your stuff from vermin like that. I feel for you. The only counsel I'd offer (not that you need my advice) is to lock stuff like radar detectors, GPSs, iPods etc out of sight. Anything in sight is an incentive for one of these sub-humans to smash and grab. I once had someone slash open the top of my Miata for a pack of cigarettes someone left in my car. And I don't even smoke!!!!!!!
