The theory was that the stock charge pipe was made with rubber and it can expand. They also claim the bellow potentially restricted flow.
The more I read about it, the more I thought that, I don't think the difference will be significant, and the 'bellow' people were talking is actually an expansion joint which is necessary to decrease stress on the elbow.
