Yes, the N55 tends to be somewhat more reliable than the N54.
I had a 2012 N55 for 3 years/ 42k miles with zero issues of any kind.
My current 2012 N55 is good too, but I've only had it for 6 months.
When I was looking to replace my lease, I looked for an N55 for the slight edge in reliability (plus some remaining warranty).
