I had an AA fmic on my 135i which is one of the most cutting intercoolers and i decided hpf with my 1m still triming but alot less.
My conclusion take the intercooler get as much cash from it and buy and ETS, HPF, AMS, or HELIX all of them are great intercoolers for the n54. ETS 5" will also be a direct fit
