I'll mirror that sentiment and go one further. The M4 to me looks more like a market reaction car than a market defining and shaping car like we're used to from BMW M division. To me, it looks like an Audi S5 in BMW branding. Pretty on the outside but once you get past the first visual impressions you learn its bigger, heavier, and less attractive than you first thought.

I'll be keeping my 1M for some time to come. In fact, I may pick up a '08 or '09 DCT E92 M3 for a track car as the thirsty V8 and the new body style should further push their resale price down.
