Well people are buying mini Cooper S's, and 3-series, and well here in Canada a price of 32k for the 128 places it right where bmw said it be, between the mini and the 3series.
A base 3 series starts at 35-36k(cdn) here, and well if you think of a a full load A3 it easily hits 45k(cdn) with a few options.
Not sure how that all works in US, but it adds to me.:iono:
edit: the A3 being a car that it will compete with, IMO
