1. We done another naming clinic. This is our third. And whilst some of the specially chosen clients recognised the original M1 , The overall majority voted to use "M1" ahead of other choices selected for the car as it feels like a rightful addition alongside M3 and M5.

Which leaves us with the dilemma. Our three focus groups have in majority selected "M1" it may look like BMW might have to "bite the bullet" and call the car M1. Time is running out. (Thanks for your participation , remember the NDA prevents you from talking about it)

2. Soon we put the car into the launch cycle where we will unveil it for our distributors and agents across the world , so they can relay the information to their dealer network who will relay that information to the customer.
It lets the dealer and consumer know that it is coming.

3. The car will soon be hitting the Nürburgring (Nordschleife) for extensive chassis testing and honeing and fine tuning the handling.
This is a significant moment in marketing terms, because the press will be there for their spyshots which will bring interest from many parties across the world as the 1-M will feature in print , as exclusive front page and main feature specials giving BMW maximum exposure and raising the excitement bar that such a concept is on the horizon.

4. The car will film within the Los Angeles area over the Summer.

5. Social media will be used to communicate the new car to a new demographic of customers.
