+1. Artemis, there is a list of proper oils in the relevant section of the supplementary 1M manual. Stick with that one, try not to mix different grade oils when it comes to adding oil and don't forget that BMW services at times may be suffering from the same syndroms of competence even in Germany or its neighbours when it comes to a relatively rare product like 1M
