Metak - sorry to hear about your woes. Makes one want to change thier OWN fluids doesn't it!
I think the reason why this keep coming up - is that most BMW techs only go to school maybe once every year or so. And most have not had any training on the 1M. I think most techs seem to think... ohh its a //M... it takes what the M3 takes... MTF-LT-2, which as we know is NOT the correct fluid. Hang in there... by the time the 45K service rolls around... these techs will know what fluid is required. lol
