my only concern with cold temps would be stopping distance. Taking it easy for a few months or relying on DTC is worth it. Here's to hopping none of us are forced to test the "extreme" cold stopping traction. (knock on wood)

Pushed a E90 330xi pretty hard in the dead of winter with "18 perf RFT. Dry roads, little noticeable traction on corners. But that's x-drive.

My Dad had an E36 M3 and got through 5 philly winters. Slid his way home (50 mile commute) a few times, but turned off DSC and got it done.
