like the other guys said the HP+ will be pretty loud for daily driving. if you are a light braker on the street they will probably make more noise than you are looking for. the HP+ will have better sustained braking than the HPS. I am running the HPS for autoX because i DD my car, but i will probably go with something more aggressive when these die. the HPS has good initial bite, but then it falls off a bit.
a few guys i autoX with are using the new EBC Yellow compound and they have been very happy with it. from what they have said they are loud for the first few hundred miles of street driving but then then quiet down.
