May 16? Was hoping it would be early May as I will be overseas in mid May. Will have to cancel that trip then! I can't believe you are waiting a whole year for this car! One of my current cars had a 9 month wait, but I ended up just picking up a cancelled order as I could not imagine waiting 9 months - for any car! I would be bored and ready to move on to the next car by then.
Good point about going for the March build. I had the first batch Cooper S back in 2002, and the quality was terrible. But then again I have also had first batch 911, TT, 3 series coupe and they were fine. So it isn't always an indication I guess. The 1 series has also been in production for awhile now, and other RHD market (UK) are already getting their 135i.
Btw, where will our 1 series be made?
